Have you got time on your hands?

We’re all so very time-poor these days, with many of us wondering how to fit everything in, that at Be More Effective we’re delighted to welcome the publication of a new book which is music to our ears.

Mark Woods and Trapper Woods – colleagues of mine in the USA and experts in the field of time management – have written Attack Your Day!  Before It Attacks You, which quite rightly bills itself as “an approach to time management that doesn’t take more time to learn than the amount of time it saves”.

Trapper delivers, in the States and Canada, the same time management programmes we deliver across Europe and we highly recommend this book to anyone who struggles to cope with the tasks/time equation.

Trapper said: “We have more events and activities to manage in the same amount of time. This is due, in part, to technology, the Internet and the expectations of doing more with less. We are wired 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with multiple demands and hardly a chance to catch our breath.”

This can lead to time compression, creating anxiety, stress and poor productivity. The book gives readers five simple skills to avoid feeling overwhelmed – to strike before anxiety and stress set in.
